Editorial Standards
The standards we hold every published piece to.
Accuracy first
We strive to get it right. Claims of fact are checked against primary sources where possible, and we represent evidence — including uncertainty and competing interpretations — fairly. When we fall short, we correct the record promptly and visibly under our Corrections Policy.
Sourcing & citations
Published pieces cite their sources. Data and quotations are attributed, and outbound links to source material are provided so readers can verify claims for themselves. We do not publish fabricated quotes, data, or sources.
Human review & the editorial workflow
Every release moves through human editorial review before publication. Drafts are written by member organizations or assigned authors, reviewed and edited by editors, and only then published. No piece is published automatically.
Use of AI
JournHub may offer optional, provider-agnostic AI assistance to help draft or research a piece. When AI assistance is used, it is disclosed in the piece's provenance, and the output is always human-reviewed and human-editable. AI never publishes on its own, and AI-assisted drafts are held to the same sourcing and accuracy standards as any other work.
Independence & conflicts of interest
Analyses reflect the views of their named authors and organizations. Editorial judgments about accuracy and standards are made independently of funding relationships. Member-contributed or sponsored material is clearly labeled.
Bylines & authorship
Published work carries a byline linked to an author page describing the author's role and focus, so readers know who is accountable for a piece.
